J. P. Gifford’s Café in Sharon, continues the promise made in 2010. To create a place where friends, family and foodies could meet and enjoy delicious food and beverages in a warm, casual atmosphere.

Lead by owners Mike Moriarity and Chef James Neunzig, our knowledgeable staff is committed to delivering a wonderful experience.

Starting with the freshest ingredients, we use locally sourced ingredients when available. Nearly all of the produce, meat, and fish is farmed or harvested in a sustainable manner.

We serve organic, Sustainable Fair Trade coffee roasted by Sun Coffee Roasters and fine teas blended by Master Tea Blenders Harney & Sons.

All baked goods are made in house by our talented pastry chefs. Come taste why Travel + Leisure Magazine named us one of the top 15 small bakeries in the US.

Whether you’re craving a light salad or a stacked, juicy smash burger, you can count on us to serve it up fresh. Our signature sandwiches are legendary.

By summer, the shimmering cascade in Kent Falls State Park is a perfect picnic backdrop. Stop in the village first for tasty sandwiches and treats to go at J.P. Gifford Market & Catering Company. With a Chicken Cutlet Apple Melt in your belly and the soothing rush of the falls in your ears, the urge to nap may be irresistible. | 6 Connecticut Towns and 30 Ways to Enjoy Them | by Kim Knox Beckius
